K12 has recently added an “In the News” section that will allow people to post relevant news articles. Readers of the forums "posts" will be able to get a sense of conversation, not evident in the news articles, and will be able to see how your fellow directors feel about the same situations.
One of the main goals the "forum" is to assist those who are new to utilizing commodities. By participating in the forum, less experienced foodservice directors will be able to learn more about the program, and how others deal with similar issues. It will also be a good way to get a feel for how participants view one another's opinions. If someone posts controversial advice, someone else will almost certainly be there to contradict, clarify, or enhance it. Either way, it can open up options for you to think about and open your mind to different ideas.
